Clinical Poster

Final Watercolor
Overview:
Dissected a human foot with severe hallux valgus and made a series of detailed drawings to register dissection steps. Examined anatomical structures effectively and represented these structures accurately. Studied anatomical atlases to investigate various technical solutions. Produced a preliminary design unique in composition with transition from superficial to deep plantar muscles. Specimen colors were translated as seen in vivo, relying on information gathered from fresh cadaver observation. Studied x-ray scans of feet with varying severity of HV. Researched pathology and biomechanical factors involved in HV formation, as well as typical surgical intervention.
