Biology and Zoology

Katie enjoys depicting species from all levels of life. She studied Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Rice University and regularly engages with research in biodiversity, animal behavior, and comparative anatomy. With experience dissecting various animals and attending animal surgeries/microsurgeries, she continues to expand her understanding of the intricacies of the animal kingdom. Katie is able to create works with biologists, veterinarians, and educators like museums and conservatories for a variety of audiences. She can translate complicated research and methodology for the applicable viewer.
